Van Willigan Hospital

NOTICE TO ALL STUDENTS AND VISITORS: Individuals who are in regular close contact with live poulty are requred to wear a mask when visiting patients in the Oncology, Pediatric, and Intensive Care areas of the hospital until further notice.

Situated on-campus, the Van Willigan Hospital serves as both an educational facility and as medical care for the nearly 35,000 residents of Kettle.

What started as a simple company infirmary for the local mining operation grew over the years to be the state-of-the-art facility it is today. Over the past century and a half, the hospital has expanded its focus to Oncology, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics, Physical Therapy, Mental Health Services, Inpatient and Outpatient surgery, and Pathology, holding steadfast to its position as the backbone of the city.

The hospital is also proud to offer the Van Willigan Scholarship to 25 of the brightest medical students annually, thanks to the funds raised by the yearly masquerade ball.
